Ms. Krei
Laurie was born and raised in Oregon. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Merchandising/Marketing from Oregon State University and a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University. Outdoor education is her passion and she looks forward to including that in her classroom environment. Laurie has experience in 1st grade and also has over 6 years of experience in K-8th grade curriculum development, conflict resolution and teaching adult education workshops through working with the Girl Scouts of Oregon and SW Washington. Additionally, she is a certified Wilderness First Responder with National Outdoor Leadership School. Laurie joins BCA with a passion to partner with families and a desire to help students accomplish their individual goals. In her free time she can be found hiking, mountain biking, tending to a tree farm or supporting her daughter’s high school activities. The 2020-21 School year will be Laurie's third year at BCA. In addition to being the 5th/6th grade learning coordinator, Laurie is also excited to be a National Archery in the Schools Program archery instructor as well.
